Audible
and visual (LED and LCD readout) alarms advise LOW and HIGH alarm
condition. By simply pressing the “TEST” button (at any time) you
can display the alarm set points or the PEAK Alarm (for highest gas
exposure experienced exceeding alarm level over the last 24 hour
period).
The
PM2000 provides TWO full years of continuous protection (one full year
for the Oxygen version) from the time of activation, without the
inconvenience of factory renewal. Simply press the “Test” button to
activate. The life remaining is constantly displayed - first in months -
then days - then hours.
The
PM2000 is the only detector of its type that has a Full Function
Self-Test of sensor integrity and the alarms.
The
display reminds you daily to press the “TEST” button. After the test
is completed the “SELF TEST “ remains lit assuring you the unit
tested successfully. The PM2000 requires no calibration, it
automatically adjusts for normal sensor ageing and temperature change.
