Manufactured
by GMI, the Landsurveyor 2 is part of the Gasurveyor family which is in use by
customers world-wide and builds upon the capabilities of the successful
Landsurveyor 1.
The
Landsurveyor 2 is EASY TO OPERATE. With four push button switches, the sophisticated and
proven internal circuitry does the work for you. The backlit L.C.D. digital
display clearly indicates gas levels and updates the user on the instrument
status. The instrument self checks on switch-on and features a datalogging
capability which can store up to 2000 readings. The rechargeable batteries
give at least 10 hours continuous operation.

The
Landsurveyor 2 is TOUGH. It has been designed to withstand the harshest conditions.
As with the rest of the Gasurveyor Range, the instrument case is built from an
incredibly strong carbon filled polypropylene compound and the display is made
from toughened glass mounted on shock absorbing material. Surface mount
technology is employed for manufacturing the PCBs, which means the electronic
components are bonded to the boards, hence vibration, knocks and ageing will
not loosen the components.

The
Landsurveyor 2 is EASY TO USE AND COMFORTABLE TO WEAR.
It is one of the smallest and most compact units available today, weighing
only 1.7 kilos and measuring 180 x 95 x 105mm. The instrument comes complete
with a simple to fit sample line and probe, and the integral pump draws the
sample into the instrument for you.
The
Landsurveyor 2 has a LOW COST OF OWNERSHIP. A 2 year lifetime oxygen
cell is used in the instrument and the cotton and hydrophobic filters in the
sampling probe represent the main consumable outlays.

|
The
Landsurveyor 2 is RELIABLE by virtue of its developments from proven and tested
instruments that GMI manufacture and supply to a world-wide customer base of
major international utility and environmental companies.
